Big hype, little substance

My stay was marred by a filthy room filled with bugs, including bed bugs and roaches. The linens were unclean, and the smell was unbearable. Staff were unhelpful, making this experience nothing short of dreadful. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone, regardless of price. Save yourself and look elsewhere.

We stumbled upon this place and were pleasantly surprised with how clean the room was. Loved that there wasn't any carpet to trap dirt. They had a nice pool and comfy sun loungers to relax by after a long day of exploring. Just a heads up, the bathroom could use a little more counter space, but it didn’t ruin our experience at all! 😊

I booked a King Room Non-Smoking and was excited for the stay. The bed felt high and super comfy, which made for a decent night’s sleep. The staff tried their best to accommodate despite lacking my original room. They helped me find a suitable room quickly. The location was convenient with easy access to restaurants nearby. However, the coffee station was pretty basic, just regular and decaf options without any real breakfast offerings. The room needed some maintenance attention. there were noticeable damages on the walls and a filthy mirror upon arrival. The toilet malfunctioned frequently and the musty air made it tough to breathe. It’s a mixed bag, and while I appreciated the staff's effort, I'm not sure I'd choose this place again if given better options.

Despite the issues, the A/C worked well, making for a cool stay. Surprisingly, I didn’t notice any bugs.

The King Room was decent and the bed was super comfy. The pillows looked small, but they were just right! On the downside, the cleanliness was sketchy. There were some bugs in the room, and it felt like it needed a good deep clean. Not the best experience overall, but the bed was a highlight.

Seriously, this was the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed. We found roaches everywhere, including dead ones in the light fixtures! No iron, and the toilet barely flushed. And the rude guy at the office didn’t help. Only good thing was the ice machine (when it actually worked). Wouldn't wish this place on anyone.

The staff were friendly and the check-in was quick. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere during my stay. Pet-friendly options were available. A solid choice....  

This place was just an excellent fit for a weekend stopover in Waycross with outstanding value. The staff was friendly and got my room ready quickly when I arrived, even though it was supposed to be ready earlier. Plan to arrive a bit later if you want to make sure your room is good to go.

Decent Stay with Room for Improvement

My family and I stayed for two nights and appreciated the comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but the lack of amenities like a coffee maker was disappointing. Be prepared for no breakfast options, and make sure to double-check your room key functionality.

The bed was high and very comfortable, making for a restful sleep. The towels were soft and well stocked, contributing to a pleasant experience.

The pillows were smaller than expected, but they ended up being just right.

The only redeeming factor was the location—right by all the fun spots! They had a reasonable price, too, which is usually a positive. At least I didn't get lost on my way back!

But honestly, it felt like I was dodging a roach army. Note to self, not all cheap places are sweet!
